Did We Meet You at FTTH Conference 2025?

Alcadon had a strong presence at this year's FTTH Conference in Amsterdam, where we connected with partners, suppliers and customers while gaining valuable insights into the latest industry trends.

Here are some of the key takeaways from the conference:

👉 Home internet speeds continue to increase. Over the coming years, we can expect a shift from 1 Gbps connections to speeds ranging from 2 to 10 Gbps. 📈

👉 Security in the Baltic Sea is being strengthened with a dedicated fleet ready to respond quickly and repair damaged submarine fiber cables.

👉 Copper networks are being phased out across Europe, with fiber becoming the new standard for connectivity.

👉 Significant investment will be needed in the coming years to achieve full fiber coverage across Europe.

Thank you to everyone we met for the great conversations throughout the event! 😊
