Something more important than fiber and networks

It’s a matter of life and death!

At trade shows, customer sites, the office or at home, you can suddenly find yourself in a situation where knowing how to provide first aid is essential.

That is why all Alcadon employees recently took part in a four-hour first aid course combining theory with practical exercises.

The course covered topics including blood clots, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an AED and psychological first aid. The aim was to give our employees the basic knowledge and confidence needed to act if a serious situation occurs.

A big thank you to Danish Red Cross First Aid and instructor Jesper Rolin Sørensen for a thorough and reassuring course.

Naturally, we hope we will never need to use what we learned. But if a situation arises, we are now better prepared to help.

• Make sure the situation is safe
• Assess the person
• Call 112 for help
• Provide first aid
