NOVUX™ is CommScope's next generation of fiber closures, designed with a focus on modularity, scalability and fast, straightforward installation.
The system reduces the number of components required and minimizes environmental impact.
NOVUX™ offers 50 times more configuration possibilities than previous systems while using 75% fewer components.
It is ideal for faster, simpler installations without the need for specially trained technicians.
2. Which product series does NOVUX™ replace? keyboard_arrow_down
NOVUX™ is a new product range from CommScope, offering one of the industry's most flexible FTTX platforms.
The NOVUX™ SRC series covers applications previously served by products such as OFDR and Gator.
3. What tools do I need to install NOVUX™? keyboard_arrow_down
NOVUX™ closures are specifically designed for installation without special tools.
Standard fiber installation tools are all you need for cable preparation and splicing.
4. What about the fiber bend radius? keyboard_arrow_down
NOVUX™ is compatible with G.657 fiber.
Due to the bend radius limitations inside the compact NOVUX™ closure, it is not designed for G.657.D fiber.
If you are unsure whether NOVUX™ is suitable for your application, please contact us for technical advice.
When looping tubes inside CSC40 or CSC100 closures, soft tubes must be used.

A significant part of our standard NOVUX™ splicing product range is available from stock at our warehouse in Nivå, north of Copenhagen.

CSC40
Compact fiber closure with a capacity of up to 24/48 splices and patching options for 6 × LC duplex or 6 × SC simplex adapters.
Cable ports:
- 2 round ports (minimum cable diameter: Ø6 mm)
- 4 multi-out ports accommodating 8 small cables (≤6.2 mm)
CSC100
Compact fiber closure with a capacity of up to 48/72 splices and patching options for 6 × LC duplex or 6 × SC simplex adapters.
Cable ports:
- 3 round ports (minimum cable diameter: Ø6 mm)
- 6 multi-out ports (≤8 mm), accommodating 12 small cables (≤6.2 mm)
CSC150
Compact fiber closure with a capacity of up to 72/96 splices and patching options for 8 × LC duplex or 8 × SC simplex adapters.
Cable ports:
- 4 round ports (minimum cable diameter: Ø6 mm)
- 8 multi-out ports (≤8 mm), accommodating 16 small cables (≤6.2 mm)

CTU cable termination units save installation time
By preparing the fiber cable in the CTU before installation, mounting it inside the NOVUX™ closure becomes quick and straightforward. Save time: Open the closure. Snap the CTU into place. Close the closure. Move on to the next installation.
Different CTU types and sizes are available to suit your requirements.
Fast and intuitive installation
The integrated mounting clip makes it easy to install NOVUX™ in a wide range of locations. Simply attach the mounting bracket to the closure and secure it at the installation site.

Ideal for small installations requiring a maximum of four fiber splices.
